I am so excited to start product reviews for you. I have had so many mums ask my opinion about certain products for them or their bubbas so thought why not start a product review page!
I love when I have my nails done. For starters it stops me biting them and for me, it just makes me feel female under the layers of daggy clothes covered in kid's breakfast. I would love to go and get my nails nicely manicured each week and completely jealous of friends that do, but I just don't have the time or regular funds to commit to doing that. Recently I was given the opportunity to review a nail product. I did explain that I wasn't a person who regularly had my nails manicured through having no time and not a huge care factor to go, as I am always embarrassed to go get them done because I bite them. However, Fiona the jamberry consultant assured me I was a perfect candidate, as anyone is really and I jumped at the opportunity for my first review. If she could convince me about a nail product that I could do myself then I was going to share for sure! So grab a cup of tea, put your feet up and read on for my review on Janberry nails and see for yourself a very fuss free, low priced and interesting way to have great looking nails!
A group of sisters in the U.S came up with an idea for do it yourself nails in the comfort of your own home and at a fraction of the cost of a nail salon.
jamberry nail wraps are made with are a material that sticks to your nails through heat, leaving no streaks or smudges for anyone like me, who usually has one neat hand and one that looks like my 5 year old daughter did it.
jamberry nail wraps come in a huge variety of colours and patterns for both your hands and toes. jamberry even have their own range for your little girls, which made Eva's day seeing this!
You can host parties, become a consultant or just order through a jamberry consultant and have amazing looking nails to suit any occasion.
So I had the lovely jamberry consultant Fiona come to my house to show me how to put them on. I am usually terrible at painting my nails so was a little skeptical how I was going to be able to coordinate putting these on myself. I could see the bonus of having a party, as the consultant hosting will show you how to put them on and then instruct you as you do it yourself. Your pack also comes with thorough instructions and pictures to guide you through each step.
I picked out my set of jamberry wraps to use and Eva picked out her own set and within an hour, we both had beautiful looking nails! I know they will get quicker to do as I do them more regularly so keep that in mind.
Are you a nail biter like me? Or are you the type of person that once your nail polish chips, it all has to come off? Well this is what I found was the bonus of these nails and because I am a nail biter and polish picker, I am more sold on this product for this reason than the array of colours and patterns they come in. It has been two weeks and while they are just starting to look a bit worn, I can honestly tell you, I haven't once bitten a single nail! I feel that if I keep replacing the jamberry wraps every few weeks, I am certain I could kick this habit and so can my daughter who is as bad as I am.
